The Project Management Institute offers a certification for agile practitioners, such as product owners, scrum masters, and agile project managers named Project Management Institute-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®) which is a globally recognized certification that validates an individual’s expertise in agile methodologies, principles, and tools. This certification is designed for professionals who work in agile environments and want to demonstrate their ability to apply agile practices effectively.

With the increasing and continuous adoption of agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, and SAFe, the PMI-ACP® covers a broad spectrum of agile approaches, making it ideal for project managers, agile practitioners, team leads, and professionals looking to enhance their careers in agile project management.

Upon completion of this PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) ™ course, you will then be prepared to write the Agile Certified Professional exam with PMI.

Requirements for eligibility to write PMI-ACP Exam with PMI

1. Secondary school diploma: Grade 12/Matric Certificate

2. 24 months or 2 years of agile experience within the last 5 years

OR

Have a current/active PMP® certification

Have 1-year agile experience and a third-party agile certification (must be current and earned more than 1 year ago)

Have 1-year experience and have completed a Global Accreditation Centre (GAC) core project management course, are pre-approved to fulfil this requirement.

3. 28 hours of training in agile practices, frameworks, and methodologies: This requirement is met by attending this course with us.
