The programme
Programme overview
Total Quality Management (TQM) is a practical, customer-focused management philosophy that embeds quality into every part of an organisation. It depends on the active participation of everyone — from frontline staff to senior leaders — and combines strategy, data and clear communication to drive continuous improvement.
This intensive online course gives supervisors, team leaders and managers a hands-on grounding in TQM principles and tools so they can embed quality thinking into processes, teams and strategy. Through practical exercises, real-world case studies and ready-to-use templates you’ll learn how to diagnose quality problems, design improvements and lead sustained change that increases customer satisfaction and business performance.
TQM in this course is presented through three complementary pillars:
- Tools & Techniques — quantitative and qualitative methods for solving quality problems (process mapping, root-cause analysis, control charts, PDSA).
- Customer Focus — turning customer needs into measurable quality targets and meaningful indicators.
- Quality Culture — values, behaviours and leadership practices that sustain improvement across the organisation.
